Project Overview

This six year project aims at – improving and broadening apprenticeship training by incentivizing SME participation in apprenticeship training through grant funding of apprenticeship industry clusters; increasing performance of ITIs through performance-based grant funding for upgradation of selected ITIs; increasing state governments capacities to support ITIs through performance-based grant funding to state governments to incentivize reforms in management of ITIs; overhauling curricula and TLM in selected key CTS programs; and enhancing distance learning in pre-employment and in-service teacher training.
The Project would be implemented in all the States of India. The objective of the consultancy is to support in the preparation of the Project Operations Manual for this project.
