Project Overview

The project aimed to promoteInstitutional Development for urban health sector reform in the Bangladesh urban sector. Our services involved assessing the roles and capacity requirements of municipal administrations, and communities for urban public health management, planning capacity building to strengthen urban public health governance , conducting an assessment of donor activities in the area of municipal public health governance, identifying key sector policy reforms relating to public health and primary health care service delivery at the city corporation and municipal level, reviewing current and alternative approaches to strengthening municipal public health function and preparing the technical feasibility study according to ADB format and guidelines, including the sector analyses and the draft program implementation manual.
