Project Overview

The main objective of this assignment is to support the Program’s task team at the World Bank in the implementation and dissemination of Phase II of the Program for the Development of the Buddhist Circuit in South Asia in Nepal and Bhutan. In Nepal, the consultancy will support (i) the preparation of the Greater Lumbini Region Master Plan and the enhancement of selected social enterprises in the area, and (ii) the establishment of a model women-led enterprise in Lumbini site. In Bhutan, the consultancy will support (i) the preparation of a cultural landscape plan for the Punakha Valley, and (ii) the establishment of a model community-based social enterprise in Nobgang village, Punakha.
