This project is aimed at advising the Government of Orissa to achieve a better financial control and reducing its expenditure on non-development items. Our specific role is to setup an MIS center at Bhubaneshwar and act as project manager for collection, compilation and reports generation of about 6,00,000 employees of the Government of Orissa. This employee database was to be used for setting up a full payroll system for the Government as well as for providing critical input for deciding on retrenchment of excessive staff.
